Josiah, I also read your blog; I believe the fact that, as CWillZ said, blogs are public means that we’re justified and not creepy, and the fact that I read the blog of each of the three people above me AND they read mine actually means we’ve got a little community going on.
I’ve only used Genius sparingly, Josiah. But I will probably do it more frequently now.
Bryant, c’mon! This is actually a mostly random sampling of what went through my head over the course of like 120 minutes yesterday, so yes, this post is on shuffle. Music evokes a mood, though, that simple thought usually doesn’t, and I think therein lies the difference.
CWillZ, I knew that part would elicit a response from you, so mission accomplished. The pants were “emergent” not “emerging”, which I think is possibly more scandalous? I think coattails and a stove top hat would greatly evoke the ancient-future state.

“Emerging pants”? Maybe they should wear suspenders to really embrace the ancient-future faith.

I read your blog and it may or may not be creepy on my part but in my opinion, you can read blogs to your heart’s content.

In response to your “iTunes shuffle” paragraph: have you not discovered iTunes genius? It literally works at genius level providing exactly the right mood every single time.
